The MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia will be a spectacular three-day event staged in Adelaide during November, commencing in 2027 ahead of the Supercars Grand Final.

The event will utilise a variation of the previous historic Adelaide Grand Prix Circuit, creating the first modern-era street circuit for MotoGP. Sections through Victoria Park will be carefully adapted to meet contemporary FIM circuit homologation and safety standards.

The proposed circuit will measure approximately 4.195 kilometres and feature 18 turns, an exciting evolution of the current Adelaide Street Circuit, which runs 3.22 kilometres with 14 turns.

Hosting the world’s first MotoGP race on a street circuit would mark a defining moment for global motorsport and for South Australia. It represents the return of the legendary Adelaide Grand Prix Circuit, an iconic venue reborn for a new generation.

This event will reconnect Adelaide with its proud Grand Prix heritage while propelling the sport into an exciting new era. Fans will witness the world’s best riders competing at extraordinary speed through the same city streets that defined a golden chapter of motorsport history.

A MotoGP street race in Adelaide will deliver a truly immersive experience. Street circuits bring fans closer to the action, while the surrounding city provides the perfect stage for fan zones, premium hospitality, live entertainment and vibrant city-wide activations.
