Adelaide Rally

The Adelaide Rally is Australia’s only tarmac rally, under Motorsport Australia regulations.  It has two main entrant types, comprising of general road cars and modified or purpose-built vehicles. Held annually in October or November, this event attracts interstate and overseas entrants.

In 2022 the South Australian Government allocated $5.731 million (over four years) for the return of the Adelaide Motorsport Festival and $2.075 million (over four years) for the Adelaide Rally event.  The SAMSB are responsible for the administration and acquittal of this grant funding on behalf of the South Australian Government to the event manager, Massive Events Corp.
